I recently discovered that my metabolic age is lower than my actual age. It wasn't so six months ago when i attended a Stress Management Program organised by Petronas whereby i did the body composition analyser and the result showed that i had a metabolic age of a 35 year old which was a digit higher than my actual age. I then met with a fellow Petronas staff who was aged 50 and his metabolic age was an astounding 40 which means he is 10 years younger than his actual age. After having conversed with him, i was determined to lose the pounds and concentrate to being healthier.
Through sheer determination, i now have a metabolic age of a 28 year old. I am officially six years younger but that is still not good enough as i intend to reduce by another four years. If the 50 year old gentleman can do it, so can anyone right? So, i would like to share with you that it is possible to achieve through a combination of proper workout, food management and of course, self-discipline.
The following are one of the form of exercises which i do routinely with my personal trainer, Kash.
If you have a weak back like i do, then its best to do a warm-up of back exercises using a bench by doing three sets of 10-15 reps.
Next is the squats. This form of exercise is good for the thigh and buttocks.
Then doing leg raises with slow and controlled movements. This particular exercise concentrates on the inner thighs.
The above is the dead lifts which helps to sculpt your back posture.
